If one uses Contactless method, how to show proof of the purchase if asked?
The controllers will ask you to tap the card that you used on a handheld device which will show them your purchase :)

I plan to buy an interail countru pass for Sweden. Will the train be covered?
Good question! Its best for you to seek information on the interrail or swedish train website, as we are not familiar with this as students living in Stockholm :)
Interrail is covered on Arlanda express and SJ intercity, on the latter one you have to make a seat reservation (30-60sek). Mälartåg and SL Pendeltåg are not included
Hi! I have just been offered a nice studio apartment at KI residence Solna. Does the apartment come with cooking utensils or/and blankets sheets, and pillows?
Hi congratulations! Yes the kitchens are fully equiped and blankets and pillows are provided. However for more uptodate info, KI housing will provide you more info via mail, closer to the move in date :)

The biomedicine bachelor's as well as the global master's programmes are taught entirely in english. You won't need to speak Swedish to complete the course!

No, theres no need to know swedish at all to complete an english programme! There are multiple courses however, such as medicine, that are fully in swedish.

Hi, for the global programmes, you need to be able to speak read and take exams in English. The Ki websites has information on what language sufficiency you must have. education.ki.se/bachelors-masters-studies/apply

The normal medicine programme is in Swedish, whereas the biomedicine bachelor's is in English

I think PAX is pretty popular, but what are other good (or better) options? By the way, I am specifically looking for a studio. Thank you very much in advance!
Hi! Pax and Strix are the closest one, some students also live at Lappis, but the best options always have a lot of waiting days, so most still choose studio at Pax to my knowledge:) DA Yan

Hi! Thank you for the very helpful video! I have a question about EHIC, please. I am a European citizen but I am not living in Europe. It seems I can't apply for an EHIC. But I will be studying for 2 years, so I can get a Swedish personal number (which should give me access to the Swedish healthcare). My question is: how much time does it take to get the personal number after arrival? Is it a period long enough that I need to get an EHIC? Thank you!
I assume you mean whether you should get Swedish health insurance? It depends on whether you have intentions of staying after the studies or not and what I know is that you might need to have workd here to be eligible. THere is time for you to get it after the personnummer etc. but you should have insurance planned before starting your study :) check out the website of försökringskassa: www.forsakringskassan.se/privatperson for more info (its availble in english) DA Yan

I was actually referring to this paragraph written on the KI website for EU students: "If you are admitted to a study programme lasting longer than 12 months, you should also apply for a Swedish personal number to be entitled to regular healthcare at the same subsidised patient fees as Swedes" So I was thinking I can just apply for the personal number when I arrive in Sweden instead of getting private insurance or EHIC.

Hello, how are you? I am going to visit southern Sweden near Denmark or maybe Stockholm on February 8th ( do you recommend south of Sweden or near Stockholm and why?). I want to see the beauty of winter and the SNOW, I especially chose the beginning of February because I heard that it's the month with the most snowfall. Is this true? I want to see Sweden completely white, covered in deep snow. Will I find it on February 8th or will the snow have melted? And if you recommend a specific rural area in southern Sweden or near Stockholm , near the nature that is covered in snow and beautiful for a holiday among the snow, could you mention its name because I haven't booked accommodation yet. Hi the chances of snow is higher in the north. A lot of students choose to visit Kiruna in the winter time :)
